ABS PRO I
LINA O'SULLIVAN
Lina O'Sullivan is the only Irish based female to have won the ABS PRO beating Irish IPF No.1 Bronagh McPeake at ABS PRO 18 with a 7/9 performance. Both lifters missed their opening squats to set up a tense battle with Lina winning the event on her second pull.
ABS SERIES 1
EMMA MCDERMOTT
Emma won the inaugural ABS Series pulling her first 200kg in competition and winning the overall title between the light and heavy weight divisions. Emma Narrowly beat teammate Linh Nguyen who won the lightweight division. This was the only Series where there was a light and heavy split.

LUKE TOLMAN
Luke makes his debut at the PRO despite a last minute entry. Despite tough conditions Luke beats Dave Richardson for the win and Jake Brennan with a textbook 9/9 performance and 902.5kg total at 98.2kg bodyweight. This battle is the beginning of the Luke, Dave saga. Jesse Moran shortly calls out Luke after this win and the shit talk begins for 2022 ABS PRO.
DENISE HERBER
Denise and Laura come into this comp as heavy favourites despite current champ Heather Connor on the roster. The conditions are very different this year with event moved to November due to covid and venue freezing cold. Despite this Denise goes 9/9 putting on one of the best performance in European history going 9/9 and becoming the first German lifter to win the ABS PRO.

ABS SERIES 10
KENNETH NWAEZEIGWE
Series 10 PRO-AM is one of the most competitive PRO-AM Series to date with 4-5 lifters all a few points within each other on nominations. Despite a missed 3rd squat from Ken he managed to go 8/9 and put on a very solid performance beating Urban Barbell's Ian Benson in 2nd and ABS Powerlifting's Noel Whelan 3rd.
ABS PRO IIII
DAVE RICHARDSON
Dave Richardson pulls off one of the biggest upsets at ABS PRO 2022 with a 9/9 performance and 397.5kg pull to beat defending champion Luke Tolman by 0.3 Dots. Dave the previous years runner up put on a master class beating Luke and Jesse for top spot and putting together a 1012.5kg total / Under 125kg
ANJA ZOSSO
Anja pulled off a massive upset at ABS PRO 2022 Beating heavy pre comp favourite Laura Vogelsang with a clinical 9/9 performance. Anja became the first Swiss lifter to win the PRO and top division and denied Laura her first ever PRO Win. Coach Nico won his second ABS PRO and beating Laura the previous year with Denise Herber.
ABS SERIES 11
LENNY O'SULLIVAN
A lot of trash talk was said at the press conference for this one between Lenny and Nick Mellor. Lenny was a clear underdog leading into Series 11 with few outside his circle predicating a top 3 finish. The stage was set and a Lenny goes 8/9 for a massive deadlift PB to beat Nick Mellor by 2 points on the final round to take his first PRO-AM win.
ABS SERIES 12
LUKE TOLMAN
Series 12 PRO-AM featured round 2 of the Luke & Jesse rivalry. A close battle at ABS PRO 22 meant that both lifters relished at the opportunity to compete against each other on specialist equipment.
Luke Tolman came out on top for the second time with an 8/9 performance and 940kg total U100kg. Luke also broke the Junior ATWR bench record with an easy 257.5kg press.
This win at Series 12 meant that Luke becomes the first lifter to win a PRO and PRO-AM event.
The 3rd place battle consistently of an all Irish one with Ian Benson & Noel Whelan bother breaking 500 Dots abs going 9/9 with Ian pulling his final deadlift to beat Noel.
CLASH OF TITANS 1
FERNANDO ARIAS
The Inaugural Clash Of Titans did not disappoint with all 10 athletes going 900kg+ officially make the event the strongest ever in European history. 2022 ABS PRO Champion Dave RIchardson & newcomer Fernando Arias both went North of 1000kg with Rob Spence coming 3rd in sleeves with a massive 977.5kg total.
USA athlete Arias took the inaugural Clash title with a clinical performance going 8/9 and securing the biggest total ever on a Series platform - 1035kg.
Fernando narrowly missed out on on adding more kilos to his total pulling 427.5kg on his 3rd but was red lighted 2-1.
Arias becomes the first male USA lifter to win on a Series platform and broke the all time Series Dots, Deadlift and Total records in the process.
ABS SERIES 13
LENNY O'SULLIVAN
Lenny becomes one of only four athletes to win back 2 back series and becomes the first lifter to win outside of Dublin. Series 13 was almost a repeat of Series 11 with Tommy Bebb and Mike Jones missing their last deadlifts and Lenny making his third to snatch victory by 2 Dots points.
ELSPETH MCLEOD
Elspeth make her second appearance on the series platform and despite a stacked line up won her first Series title very convincingly with an 7/9 performance and qualifying score to make herself eligible for ABS PRO V. Elspeth becomes the first female to win outside of Dublin beating Racheal Purves and Louise Kenna.
ABS PRO V
BORIS TSVETKOV
ABS PRO V seen Bulgarian powerhouse Boris Tsvetkov raise the bar and become the first Male athlete to break 600 WIlks on the Series platform. The Male roster was stacked with World class lifters with South African lifter Nicolaas Du Preez as pre comp favourite. Boris shocked the entire roster with a 400kg squat and 1012.5kg total at 104kg bodyweight to steal the win from Du Preeze and rank himself amongst the true elite of all time.
DENISE HERBER
Denise Herber returned to the Series platform after missing out on 2022 with a calf injury. Denise finally broke the ABS PRO curse becoming the first ever two time champion and putting on a master class performance with 652.5kg U75 and 646 Wilks. This formula score is the highest ever set on powerbar within the sport of powerlifting.
SERIES 14
Andres Burgos Corral
Andres Burgos Corral made his Debut at Series 14, our co main-event to the ABS PRO V.
Being the only male in sleeves, the expectation on his placement was unknown but what a show did Andres put on for us at this event.
Narrowly missing out on his 350KG deadlift, he had won his place on the podium with his second and left it all on that third pull. Finishing up his day with a 8/9 performance and 325KG squat in sleeves, Andres came and made a statement with his win this day.
SERIES 15
Tómas Darri Þorsteinsson
ABS Series 15 saw newcomer Tómas Darri Þorsteinsson enter the fold with a stacked Male PRO-AM roster. The squats set the tone with Mason Mills squatting a speedy 400kg and Tómas going 3/3 with a massive 357.5kg squat at 121kg bodyweight.
Tómas kept the momentum going with a 3/3 on the bench and broke away from the competition, locking in the win on his 2nd deadlift. Þorsteinsson made it a perfect performance locking in his 3rd deadlift and securing a 9/9 performance and 950kg total to become Iceland's first ever Series champion.
CLASH OF TITANS 2
Dave Richardson
Dave Richardson made history once again at Clash Of Titans 2 beating franchise lifters Nicolaas Du Preez and Fernando Arias to become the first ever two time ABS Series Champion. Dave put together a clinical 9/9 performance leaving him with a 1085kg total. This feat not only won Richardson his second belt but also the NO.1 Ranked lb 4 lb spot and biggest total on the ABS Platform.
The event was a biggest event in European history with 5 athletes going over 1000kg and Powerlifting legend Dan Bell making his debut at the ABS Series.
SERIES 16
Bjorge Janssen
Bjorge Janssen made his debut at Series 16, coming in to make a Statement representing the Dutch in the co-main event to the Clash of The Titans 2.
All though he finished on a 5/9 day he ended the day on a total of 885kg at 100.4kg body weight, solidifying his win at his first appearance and reaching the qualifying dots for a PRO invite in the future.
SERIES 17
Julien Borg
ABS Series 17, our second international competition in Cologne Germany saw newcomer Julien Borg enter the fold with a stacked Male PRO-AM roster. After nearly bombing on squats, to finishing the remainder of the day going 6/9, he took first place with ease finishing on 541.26 dots.
ABS PRO VI
Dave Richardson
Dave Richardson entered ABS PRO VI as the clear favorite, following his victory at the Clash of Titans a few months earlier. Competing against strong opponents like former ABS PRO champion Luke Tolman and former Clash Champion Fernando Arias, Dave delivered a flawless performance, going 8/8 in his lifts. He achieved an impressive total of 1085kg on the powerbar, securing his second ABS PRO title with a masterful display of strength and consistency over again.
Brianny Terry
Brianny Terry made an unforgettable debut at ABS PRO VI, competing against fellow American Landri Peden and Australian legend Jen Smith. Terry set the tone from the start with an effortless squat opener, while her competitors missed their opening lifts. From there, Brianny dominated the competition, going 9/9 in her lifts and not only winning her first ABS PRO title but also lifting the most weight for both the biggest deadlift and total ever on the ABS platform.
REACH RUMBLE 1
ZAC MEYERS
The inaugural REACH RUMBLE lived up to expectations, delivering one of the most intense showdowns in recent ABS history. This competition marked the debut of ABS on U.S. soil, introducing a third ABS Major event and a new championship belt. The pre-competition favorites included Frank Allen, Zac "The Hulk" Meyers, and Sir Dave Richardson.
The battle kicked off with Allen successfully completing two squat attempts, while both Dave and Zac hit their third attempts. The competition escalated during the bench press, with Zac posting an impressive 280kg lift, while Dave took only one attempt.
The final showdown came down to the deadlift. Zac successfully completed his first two lifts but was red-lighted on his third. This left Dave needing a massive 445kg pull for the win. Unfortunately, he missed the lift at the knees, allowing "The Hulk" to claim his first ABS title and U.S. championship with a sleeved total of 1060kg.
The REACH RUMBLE made history as the first and only power bar/sleeved competition with a podium featuring totals of 1000kg or above.
